Exploring the variety of home design renderings we’ve created over the years.
We have designed thousands of homes since 1991, and we wanted to bring some of our favourites out of the archive. These renderings, originally created between 2012 and 2020, have been updated with modern lighting and textures to better showcase the design styles and possibilities we offer our clients.
Our Approach to Visualization
Over our 35+ year history, our design process has evolved. We previously maintained a dedicated 3D department to produce the high-fidelity, manual renderings seen in parts of this gallery. However, the immense time required for that level of manual detail often slowed down the real goal; getting your project to the permit stage.
Today, we utilize modern AI-assisted tools for visualization. These are fantastic for capturing a general aesthetic and helping you visualize the scale of your home, but they are not structurally accurate representations. They are a bonus tool for inspiration, while our 2D technical drawings serve as the final, precise word for construction.
12 Mile Creek Traditional
A sophisticated custom design originally envisioned for a premier lot overlooking 12 Mile Creek. This home balances grand traditional architecture with natural stone masonry and intricate rooflines to suit its scenic environment. While a change in the clients' plans meant this specific project remained a concept, it stands as a prime example of our ability to design high-end, site-specific residences that prioritize both curb appeal and structural elegance.
Craftsman Estate
Designed for a spacious lot outside of the Niagara region, this project blends Craftsman-inspired timber details with a modern brick and stone exterior. The multi-garage layout and prominent entryway were engineered to provide a grand presence while maintaining a warm, residential feel. This design highlights our ability to adapt architectural styles to larger rural properties, ensuring the home feels perfectly scaled to its surroundings.
Muskoka Cliffside Cottage
Engineered for a rugged lakeside lot, this modern cottage concept was designed to be secured directly onto a granite rock face. The design features floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive cantilevered deck to maximize views of the water while respecting the natural topography of the cliffside. This project demonstrates our team's ability to handle complex, site-specific engineering challenges in some of Ontario’s most demanding landscapes.
Bay of Fundy Coastal Retreat
Designed for a sprawling coastal lot in New Brunswick, this family home was conceptualized to embrace the dramatic views of the Bay of Fundy. The low-profile bungalow design features a triple-car garage and stone accents that ground the home into the rugged East Coast landscape. This project highlights our ability to work remotely with clients across Canada, providing high-quality design concepts that respect the local geography and lifestyle.
